“Well… curiosity can lead us to some pretty dark places. It leads to trouble more often than it leads to good fortune. However curiosity is what moves and advances the world- it’s why we evolve, adapt, and grow as a people,” Riku began with a light shrug and smile. “Without the need to know more… where would we be today? It’s not always a good thing… but risk is a part of all life. I do wish that you would avoid trouble without having to give up a side of you that defines you so much.”
There was another light upturn of Riku’s lips as he was asked. He tilted his head.
Roxas nodded. “You’re right. But I wish I could do something productive with all this curiosity.” He chuckled. “I really get in too much trouble.” He scratched the back of his head. “I’m lucky I can run really fast.”
The blond tilted his head to the right, smiling when the other gave the permission. “First of all, how old are you?” He crossed his arms in front of his chest, more because he didn’t know what to do with them than for body language’s sake. “I mean, you look very young, but you are way too mature.” Roxas averted his eyes to the ceiling for a quick moment before looking back at Riku, his lips still curved in a small smile. “Not that this is a bad thing, of course. It’s really nice, actually. It’s rare to find people like you; usually people are just… plain stupid, or something like that.” Roxas sighed. “But I’m probably looking in the wrong places, anyway. And I’m rambling, sorry.” The blond chuckled.
